3 Reasons Why I LOVE Buc-ees
Well hello there! On my travels to visit my grandfather before he came home on hospice. I was able to stop at all the Buc-ees until my heart was content. Clutching my invisible pearls…if you have never heard of Buc-ees…Let me share with you the amazing-ness of Buc-cees.
Buc-ees is hopefully not the worlds best kept secret of gas stations and stores. Born in 1982, Buc-ees has several locations throughout Texas, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I was shocked that Buc-ees was outside Texas and South Carolina (they were getting one when we moved). I explained to my grandmother that Buc-ees is what Walt Disney would have if he had made the mouse into a gas station/convenience store…but instead of Mickey Mouse it’s a Beaver named Buc-ee.

Merchandising and branding. Anyone who knows the name knows the beaver’s red hat and yellow circle. This company I think has hit the amazing recognition award. If they could give an award to spotting Buc-ee out of a line up. Most everything they sell has the cute beaver on it. If you don’t believe me, check out some of the pictures I have included in the blog. Sincerely their branding and merchandising makes my heart smile.
Safe. I feel safe walking in and out of a Buc-ee’s. I have not been to a Buc-ee’s that wasn’t well lit, open, clean, and staffed with wonderful people.
